Travel Requirements

  • VISAS
  • All passengers travelling from countries that require a visa to enter Kenya must obtain an e-visa prior to entry into Kenya.
  • How to apply for the e-visa:
  • • Go to http://evisa.go.ke/ and create an account
  • • Fill out the application form and pay the required fee
  • • Once the application is approved, you can download your e-visa PDF file.
  • • Processing visa applications by the government of Kenya takes up to 48 hours.

  • Passport holders traveling to the Republic of Kenya are divided into 3 categories.
  • Category 1 - Nationals and Persons who do not require visas to enter Kenya: Bahamas, Belize, Botswana, Brunei, Burundi, Cyprus, Darussalam, Dominica, Ethiopia, Fiji, Gambia, Ghana, Grenada, Jamaica, Kiribati, Lesotho, Malawi, Malaysia (For less than 30 days stay), Maldives, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Nauru, Papua New Guinea, Rwanda, St Kitts & Nevis, St Lucia, Saint Vincent & the Grenadines, Samoa, San Marino, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Singapore, Solomon Islands, South Africa (For less than 30 days stay), South Sudan, Swaziland, Tanzania, Tonga, Trinidad & Tobago, Tuvalu, Uganda, Vanuatu, Zambia and Zimbabwe
  • Category 2 - Nationals issued with Visas on application.
  • Category 3 - Countries and Persons who require referred Visas.
  • COVID PROTOCOLS

  • The Vaccination/PCR test MUST be uploaded to Global Haven and a subsequent printout with QR Code done. Please note in addition the inbound traveler MUST have a QR code from https://ears.health.go.ke/airline_registration/
  • Children aged 4 and under do not need a negative PCR test to enter Kenya.
  • Children aged 17 and under do not require a COVID-19 vaccination to enter Kenya.
  • VACCINATIONS
  • A yellow fever certificate is required when entering Kenya.
